Garcelle Beauvais Reveals Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Star She Connected With The Least

When Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres next week, it is going to be as if the franchise got a facelift. Lisa Vanderpump called it quits ahead of Season 10. And two new ladies were added to the RHOBH roster.

Sutton Stracke, who was already friends with Lisa Rinna, joined the show as a Friend of the Housewives. And actress Garcelle Beauvais landed her very own diamond.

In a recent interview with E! News, Garcelle discussed who she didn’t gel with on RHOBH. “I didn’t connect with Sutton right away. And I think she took offense to…I said to her, ‘We don’t all have to be friends, you know, best friends,’” Garcelle explained. “And my thing was that in real life, you’re not best friends with everybody, you know? So I wanted to get to know her.”

But there was also an “OG” Housewife that Garcelle didn’t immediately connect with.  Garcelle stated, “I didn’t get a chance to get to know Kyle [Richards]. I think she’s hilarious. But I didn’t really connect with her as I have with some of the other ladies.”

Garcelle was asked if it was difficult to get to know Kyle because of their personalities not meshing, or because of the amount of time that they spent together.  “I think a little bit of both. I think we spent a lot of time. You know, sometimes people are hard to get to know, you know?” Garcelle responded. The newbie Housewife did admit that Kyle might have “had her guard up a little bit.” After all, Kyle wants to keep her title “Queen of Beverly Hills.”

So, how did Garcelle feel about filming her first season of RHOBH? The actress said that she “had a ball.” Garcelle has been friends with co-stars Denise Richards and Lisa [Rinna] for a while. Dorit Kemsley, Teddi Mellencamp, and Erika Jayne round out the RHOBH cast.

“Sometimes it was hard. Sometimes it was like, ‘What did I bargain for?’ But overall I think what people are going to see from me is really who I am,” Garcelle shared. “I keep it real. I feel like me and Erika have that in common. We say how we feel, we keep it moving.”
