Million Dollar Listing LA Cast Slams Selling Sunset Cast

It looks like there is a war brewing between two of my favorite real estate shows, Million Dollar Listing LA and Selling Sunset! And the spark that lit the flame is none other than Andy Cohen of course. Perhaps Andy is a bit jealous that Netflix is stealing some of Bravo’s thunder in the realm of reality TV real estate shows?

Most Bravo fans know about Million Dollar Listing, but if you haven’t checked out Selling Sunset on Netflix yet, grab your popcorn and get started! Who wouldn’t want to watch twin brothers Jason Oppenheim and Brett Oppenheim dominate Hollywood Hills real estate with a group of (mostly) blonde real estate agents who only wear six inch stilettos? It’s glossy and fun, but the cast of  Million Dollar Listing LA doesn’t seem to think so.

During an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy prodded the Million Dollar Listing LA cast as to what they thought about the Selling Sunset crew. WWHL shared what the cast thought on Instagram, and they had a lot to say on the matter.

Andy asked, “What do you guys think of that Selling Sunset show on Netflix?” The entire cast started laughing and called on Tracy Tutor to answer. But before she could chime in, Andy noted that Selling Sunset wouldn’t be there if it weren’t for them. Stoking that fire, Andy!

Tracy said, “I’ll say this. I have mad respect for women in real estate in Los Angeles and I just think that the show is not really about selling real estate. I think it’s about dating, bachelors in the Hollywood Hills, and it should really actually be a Bravo show. But that being said, you know, if you want to sell real estate, maybe kind of come on over to our show and figure out how that works.”

Josh Altman chimed in that Tracy’s response was nicer than what was going on in their group text. She’s right in that they focus on relationships, however, their show has also focused on weddings and relationship drama. If they didn’t show that side of everyone, then you only have people selling houses and we’ve got HGTV for that.

Andy then asked, “I haven’t seen it, are they bad realtors?” Riiiight. You know they are all watching the competition. Tracy responded, “I will say that I’ve not met them yet at a listing that I’ve ever been to. Or an open house, or anything of that matter.”

Josh Flagg added, “I’ve never seen any of those people in real life, except for the boys. I’ve never seen one of those people ever.” It’s probably because he spent all his time down in La Jolla trying to sell Iron Man’s home The Razor House.

Tracy said, “I will say this, the boys are great. They’re super successful and rightfully so. The women on the show are beautiful, engaging in their show, and I wish them the best of success. How’s that?” That was about as genuine as Real Housewives of New York’s Ramona Singer when she said she supports all women.

I’m looking forward to hearing what the Selling Sunset crew’s response will be. We all know Christine Quinn had a lot to say about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, so one can only imagine what she will have to say about the Million Dollar Listing cast.
