Season 9 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills had some iconic moments. The puppy-gate scandal was the beginning of the end of Lisa Vanderpump’s journey on the show.
Kyle Richards, her supposed RHOBH bestie, confronted Lisa about leaking the story of Dorit Kemsley’s puppy problems to the tabloids. When Kyle called Lisa a liar, Lisa’s husband Ken Todd threw Kyle out of Villa Rosa with an ear-splitting “Goodbye Kyle!”
Lisa skipped filming the rest of the season, and the reunion, too. As expected, Lisa exited the franchise. But there has been no healing of old wounds between Lisa and her former RHOBH co-stars. In fact, Kyle allegedly told journalist Anna Peele of Lisa, “‘She was kind of like the villain, and people didn’t realize for so long.’” Ouch!
Lisa has been busy with work on her other television series. Lisa stars in Overserved with Lisa Vanderpump on E! Lisa invites celebrity guests to Villa Rosa for cocktails, dinner, and games. The trailer just dropped for the series Vanderpump Dogs, which shows how the staff finds forever homes for the dogs at their rescue. And, against all odds, Vanderpump Rules is coming out of hibernation to film Season 9.
Now the feud between Kyle and Lisa has new life over a restaurant check. In an interview with E! News’ Daily Pop, Lisa explained what really happened. And I sincerely hope it is for the last time.
Lisa stated, “OK, so I’m in a restaurant and I see Kyle and the producer of Overserved, he comes to me and he’s like, ‘Hi.'” He said, “‘I’m in here in the restaurant having dinner with Kyle.'” Lisa said, “Are you gonna buy me dinner? Joking.” That sheds some light on why Lisa played this prank.

“When I left, I gave the server an imprint of my credit card and I said, ‘Take my bill, I’m leaving now, to that guy over there,'” the RHOBH alum explained. “So, I left and so I said, ‘If he doesn’t pay it here’s the imprint of my credit card.'” After leaving the restaurant, Lisa texted the producer. “I texted him, ‘Hey, thanks for dinner. Have a blessed night.'” He responded, “‘No need to thank me,'” Lisa shared.
The producer said, “‘But there’s 12 people coming to Pump at your expense.'” Lisa believed that meant the bill had been settled. “So, then the press called me and said, ‘Kyle said you dined and dashed and you gave her the bill,'” Lisa remarked. And now we have “restaurant-gate.”

“‘One, it was nothing to do with her. It was to do with him who I have known for 10 or 12 years,'” Lisa revealed. “And I said, ‘Two, I think he paid it.'” The producer didn’t, so apparently the joke was on Lisa. The restaurant did charge Lisa’s credit card for the $132 tab, and Lisa showed her bank statement to prove it.
Lisa told E! News’ Daily Pop, “See I didn’t dine and dash like Kyle, who is always trying to make me look bad,” Lisa commented. “I didn’t dine and dash. She should keep her new nose out of my business.”
So shady, Lisa. In the RHOBH Season 11 premiere, Kyle unveiled her new nose. Kyle was furious because a fan outside of the restaurant presented Lisa with a RHOBH cast photo to sign. Lisa allegedly crossed out the faces of her former co-stars before signing. Not classy, Lisa.
