Garcelle Beauvais Says NeNe Leakes Gave Her The Best Advice Prior To Joining Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills

Joining the cast of real housewives must be daunting, even for a seemingly confident and successful Hollywood figure like Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Garcelle Beauvais! As the real housewives community grows, newcomers like Garcelle, now luckily have a multitude of ladies, across the franchise, to refer to for support. Chances are, due to the way the show is cast, that new cast members either know another housewife through the grapevine or can make a personal connection to one.

The Peach Report Daily recently highlighted a past moment of Watch What Happens Live where Garcelle revealed to Andy Cohen which housewife had the best guidance for her as a newcomer. In a game of “Which housewife?” where Garcelle had her own RHOBH cast mates to choose from, Andy asked, “which wife gave you the best advice prior to joining the group?”

Taking a quick moment to recall, Garcelle explained “Not on this franchise, another one. Somebody else.” It turns out that the most spot on advice, came from Real Housewives of Atlanta alum NeNe Leakes. Garcelle explained, “Nene!” as Andy asked if she could say who.

We love a good housewives franchise crossover friendship, and Nene and Garcelle have appeared to be allies for a while. Just last year Garcelle even called for Nene to join RHOBH following her close friend and ally Denise Richards exit on the show.

When asked what advice the RHOA OG provided, Garcelle quipped to a gleeful Andy, “She said, girl, they are going to be lying and stabbing you in the back, watch out.”

We are guessing Nene‘s advice continues to ring truest for Garcelle, particularly after contending with Dorit Kemsley and Lisa Rinna this year on RHOBH. The ladies seemed to be particularly critical of Garcelle this season, holding her to account for her actions whenever they saw fit, with Dorit even labeling Garcelle a bully at one point. This treatment sharply contrasted with their treatment of Erika Jayne, whom they supported blindly, to a fault, all season long.

The pair continued their vendetta at the beginning of the reunion, doubling down on their position that Garcelle makes worse ‘digs’ than the other ladies. Garcelle, having known Lisa Rinna for 20 years seems particular stung by Lisa’s actions towards her. Although Andy managed to get part 1 of the reunion to end on a positive note, with Garcelle and Lisa hugging it out and Dorit apologizing for calling Garcelle a bully, it’s wild how prophetically accurate Nene‘s comments were.  We are willing to bet, 2 seasons in, if any new housewife came to Garcelle at this point for guidance, she’d have no problem preparing them for the worst.
