Evan Goldschneider may not have been fooling around with other women at the gym, but did he date Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jackie Goldschneider’s sister before marrying the former lawyer? Those are the claims being made over on social media in a viral tweet.
Page Six reported that the demoted former full-time RHONJ star spoke out to deny the accusation, in a video posted to her Instagram Stories. “While that sounds like a great story, it is sadly not true,” Jackie said. “If it were true, you would’ve known about it already because I’m completely open about my life, and because I don’t really think it’s that embarrassing of a story.”
Despite the denial, a Twitter user continued to shoot venom Jackie and Evan’s way. The viral tweet said that “Jackie was Evan’s 2nd choice,” and noted she should not “feel so entitled to judge.”
This comes after controversial comments Jackie made about RHONJ newbie Danielle Cabral in recent episodes. Dolores Catania, who famously doesn’t get involved, even stepped in to try and shut Jackie down.
Jackie married Evan in 2006, three years after they met in 2003. If Jackie’s claims that her sister “has been happily married since 1998″ are true, then the timeline for these accusations doesn’t really add up. Still, that might not stop Teresa Giudice from repeating them in the future.
That doesn’t solve the mystery of why Jackie and her sibling remain estranged, however. While they tried to reconcile in front of the cameras during Season 9, it didn’t work out. Instead, Jackie worked on cementing her allegiance with Margaret Josephs and Melissa Gorga. That’s why so many have found Jackie’s behavior towards Danielle to be so hypocritical. The latter’s brother isn’t a part of the show, so why should there be such a focus on the rift between the two?
