Vanderpump Rules fans were concerned when rumors circulated that all was not well between Ariana Madix and Lala Kent. Once news that Tom Sandoval cheated on Ariana with her friend Rachel Leviss broke, no one backed Ariana more than Lala. She was relentless, even comparing Sandoval to her ex, Randall Emmett.
Lala caught some heat for embracing Sandoval as filming for Season 11 rolled on. And during the Pump Rules panel at BravoCon 2023, Sandoval was mercilessly booed. Not a shocker.
But what was a complete shocker? Lala defending him. She said, “In a weird, weird way, I don’t know if it’s respect, but with everyone really hating on Tom, he still went out, he still performed shows, he’s sitting in front of y’all getting booed. If I were in his position, I’d tell y’all to go f*ck off,” Lala added.
Ariana and Lala are fine
Now Lala is explaining where she stands with Ariana. “Ariana and I are good,” Lala told Page Six. She also shed some light on why she tried to stop the audience from booing Sandoval.
“I was over it,” she stated. “Time has passed.” Was it only in March that Scandoval exploded? It feels like a decade ago.
“I love Ariana dearly,” Lala continued. “I will always be loyal to her, but when I’m watching something in front of me, I feel like I’m pretty logical and I’ve got to call it like I see it. But that doesn’t mean that I’m not going to ride hard for you,” she added.
It seems as if some of the VPR cast are at least tolerating Sandoval for the sake of filming. After all, they need to cash those Bravo paychecks. It sounds like these changing dynamics will stir up plenty of drama for Season 11.
