Vanderpump Rules Cast Gains New Perspective After Season 11 Reunion

The Season 11 Vanderpump Rules reunion was certainly emotional. Host Andy Cohen surprised the cast by having them watch the final few minutes of the finale together. Of course, Ariana Madix dipped out of the building during the finale episode after refusing to speak with her ex, Tom Sandoval. So she had the pleasure of seeing Sandoval, and her friend, Lala Kent, rip her apart for leaving. It was tough to watch Ariana react to the footage.

Pump Rules fans finally had the chance to see that long-awaited conversation between Ariana and Sandoval. He finally apologized. Meanwhile, Lala continued to accuse Ariana, Katie Maloney, and Scheana Shay of not being authentic. By the end of the reunion, Lala torched her friendships with Katie and Ariana. The group was more fractured than ever before.

The Season 11 reunion vibe was different

The VPR cast compared this year’s reunion to the crazy Season 10 reunion. “Well, today is very different than last year’s reunion, just in terms of what’s going on, and I feel a lot less nauseous,” Ariana told The Daily Dish. Katie called the Season 10 reunion “scary.” This time around, she was going into the reunion feeling “peace” but a bit wary of what “fresh hell people are going to come in with.” James Kennedy wanted to “enjoy the moment and be present.”

Lala stated, “Last year I was giving I’m gonna claw your eyes out and this year I’m giving I’m just like baking a human right now. So I’m very zen.” Well, Lala was anything but zen in the third part of the reunion.

Tom Schwartz felt like he was going to “sh*t [his] pants” at the Season 10 reunion, while Sandoval still has last season’s face off “echoing in [his] head.” And the Season 11 reunion was a different experience for Scheana.

“I’m feeling a little safer today than last season. There’s no temporary restraining order or a trailer I have to get shoved into,” she said. Scheana was referencing the restraining order that Sandoval’s cheating partner, Rachel Leviss, took out against Scheana.

Then the group was asked what advice they would share with themselves at the start of the season, now that it is over. “Just keep on keeping on – be you, do you,” Ariana stated. Katie said that she wouldn’t change anything. Lala also said that she wouldn’t “change” anything.

For James, it was a “golden year,” especially because he reunited with his dog, Hippie. “So this year was just all good … It was just destiny,” James said. And as for Sandoval? He said he would focus on “embrac[ing] what you[‘ve] done and learn[ing] from it; that’s what life is all about.”

Vanderpump Rules is streaming on Peacock.
