Does anyone miss seeing Baby Girl Lisa Hamme onscreen? The 90 Day Fiance Before The 90 Days alum flew to Nigeria to meet her online love on Season 4 to see if the two could make it work. While her trip and relationship with Usman Umar will be forever memorialized with a Nigerian pop hit, Lisa and Usman didn’t last.
There was palpable tension between them, stemming from cultural differences and Lisa’s insecurity about infidelity. Whether it was warranted or not depends on who you ask, but the result was that Lisa was very abrasive onscreen. That could be fantastic for entertainment views, but Lisa crossed a line when she called Usman a racial slur during the reunion filming. The verbal abuse was edited out, but she still suffered the fallout. Lisa was dropped from TLC and has been estranged from Usman since.
Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi are back for another season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After. Viewers met the couple on 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days in 2018 and watched them get married in January 2020.
Angela and Michael quickly became 90 Day Fiance fan favorites. Maybe it was Angela’s insecurities and controlling ways. The endless interrogations of Michael that got him a cake in the face one time. Not in the Rihanna way either. The Trump boxers. Unfortunately, the humiliation was all at Michael’s expense. But he married her anyway, and now the couple are waiting to be reunited in the States.
Discovery Plus couldn’t have picked a less appealing 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days cast member than Ed Brown to appear on their spinoff, 90 Day: The Single Life. Big Ed’s relationship with Rose Vega crashed and burned before our eyes, and the only reason to include him in the spin-off is the cringe factor. Everything is cringe. The mayonnaise in his hair, sweating profusely in the Philippines, the way Ed tried to romance Rose.
All that can be passed off as entertainment though, and isn’t that part of why we watch 90 Day Fiance? But what about the behaviors that are less defensible, such as Ed asking Rose to shave her legs. Ed also humiliated Rose on camera by demanding she up her oral hygiene game when he knew she had a medical issue. It had the feel of a disturbing power play between the person with the money and a much younger partner.
Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance was the last installment of the Tell All. We get to know more details on two of the couples that weren’t discussed on Part 1. Things get a little spicy when the couples come face to face with the people they have had issues with throughout the season.
While Andrew continues to fight to talk to Amira, she reveals new details about their relationship. Tarik Myers and Hazel Cagalitan confront their ex, Minty. Natalie Mordovtseva confronts the woman who she believes Mike Youngquist cheated with. I would pay to be a fly on the wall when these people get home after some of the revelations we heard.
Tom Brooks still evokes negative feelings for many 90 Day Fiance Before The 90 Days fans. The non-cynical among us had high hopes that the dapper Brit would heal Darcey Silva’s broken and needy heart. Instead, Tom was unable to emotionally support her or offer a commitment while stringing her along for airtime. Then there was the cruel jab about her weight. It was the retort of a seemingly petulant narcissist who couldn’t accept her walking away from him.
Despite his behavior, Tom always LOOKED the part of a suave, wealthy English gentleman. One of “good breeding” that went to all the right schools growing up. It was clearly something that attracted Darcey to him in the first place. And now in the age of social media, Tom seems ever so determined to look the part. So much so, that some of his embellished claims have caught up to him.
The 90 Day Fiance couples come together for the first time. Yara is upset to learn more about Jovi’s bachelor party. The real reason Mike was hesitant to marry Natalie is revealed. Amira refuses to speak to Andrew. Things definitely get spicy during the first installment of the Tell All.
Stephanie and Ryan are the only couple not present. But I’m sure she has better things to do like guzzle a bottle of wine, while talking to her psychic about Harris. The Tell All’s are my favorite part of the season. It doesn’t matter what we witnessed throughout the episodes, things are never as raw and uncut until the reunions. Let’s get straight to the recap!
Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance, wrapped up some loose ends and unraveled a few others. I still have so many more questions. I can’t wait until the Tell All to fill in some of the missing pieces. Only time will tell if some of these couples have made the biggest mistakes of their lives. I told many of them to RUN, did anyone take my advice?
Jovi and Elvis wait for Yara at the altar. It’s day 90 for Mike and Natalie, will they tie the knot?. Amira reaches her breaking point with Andrew. Stephanie is ready to start over with Harris. Let’s get straight to the recap!
In last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance focused on several shot gun weddings, K1 Visa style. I believe if some of these couples had more time, they would definitely take it. But despite being riddled with fear about the future, each couple embarks on a new journey. Honestly, I can’t wait to see where this leads.
The 90 days are up for the Americans and their foreign fiancés. They must marry or go back home to their country. Mike and Natalie have only 24 hours to make their decision. While in Vegas, Jovi gets pre-wedding jitters. Let’s get straight to the recap!
