Cynthia Bailey and Bob Harper on WWHL

Cynthia Bailey And Bob Harper Dish On Real Housewives Of Atlanta; Cynthia Doesn’t Believe Peter Has Cheated On Her

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey and The Biggest Loser host (and RHOA super fan) Bob Harper were Andy Cohen‘s guests on Watch What Happens Live last night. Cynthia talked about her marriage, the drama in Miami, her friendship with NeNe Leakes, and more.

About the status of her marriage, Cynthia shares, “One day at a time… we did just celebrate our five-year anniversary. It feels more like 20 years because we got married on the show. I feel like we’re super super married because we were married in real life, we were married on TV, we’re very married.”

Andy mentions that Cynthia is the first Real Housewives of Atlanta star to be in the clubhouse since the drama went down in Miami. Bob says Glen Rice Jr.‘s behavior made him feel uncomfortable. “He just seemed so aggressive from the very beginning,” he adds. “You don’t step up on a woman like that no matter what the case may be. When he made that comment to Kandi, it made her uncomfortable.”

Does Cynthia think Kenya Moore was wrong to kick out Glen? “I don’t think she was. A couple of the ladies were definitely uncomfortable at that point, but I didn’t personally have an issue with him.”

Cynthia continues, “I’m not really sure what happened. I know that the police was called. I know Tammy went to the hospital to get checked because she did fall and that was kind of scary.”

When Cynthia says Tammy fell, Bob chimes in with, “Or was pushed.” Cynthia says, “Well, I don’t think he intentionally pushed her.” Bob’s facial expression is like, Huh? Are you serious?!

“I think he was just in the heat of the moment and he was moving her out of the way and she slipped,” adds Cynthia. “It was just a long day. There was a lot of drinking going on, and I know personally how things can go really wrong when you have too much alcohol and too many people around.”

Why did Cynthia lose it when Porsha Williams called her a bitch, but she didn’t react the same when NeNe called Peter a bitch? Was it because Porsha is a weaker target? “No, I don’t think Porsha was a weaker target. My relationship with NeNe is a very different relationship then the relationship that I have with Porsha. Porsha and I were pretty much coming back off the reunion. There were a lot of things said, so we were not in a great place. I think we were both open minded to try to just kind of move on but there was still a lot of things going on.”

Andy asks how/when Cynthia and NeNe became friends again. “We got to a good place at the reunion, when she had her breakdown and I went to check on her,” says Cynthia. “I think that kind of opened up the door for us to be cool again. That night after the reunion, she did send me a text, saying, ‘Thanks so much for checking on me, blah, blah, blah.’ That was 100% genuine from my part. I saw my old friend fall apart and I just wanted to make sure she was OK.”

Cynthia goes on to say, from there, she and NeNe started texting more often, going out for drinks every once in a while, and so on.

Does Cynthia have any advice for the Newlyweds stars behind the bar? “Just make sure your foundation is solid. Especially since you guys are on television together as well. You gotta make sure you guys are on the same page because it doesn’t get easier once you become TV people.”

A caller asks Cynthia if she believes Peter told her the whole truth about the viral video of him touching another woman. “I don’t think there was more to the story with the video,” she says. “My husband is just very comfortable. He’s very social. He’s very accessible because of our businesses. He talks to the people that come to Bar One and Sports One. I think it is what it is. I don’t think Peter has ever cheated on me.”

Cynthia continues, “If he did cheat on me and I found out and I knew that he definitely cheated, I don’t know. I can say, ‘Oh my God, I would just leave him if he did that,’ but a lot of marriages have survived infidelities. I don’t think it’s the end of the world. I don’t think it’s a great situation, but I can’t say I would just throw in the towel over one issue. Now, if he is just cheating on me all over the place, then obviously that is just disrespectful and that wouldn’t work. I haven’t been in that situation, so I don’t know how I would react.”

Who is Bob‘s favorite contestant from The Biggest Loser? “Without a doubt, Olivia Ward, season 11 winner. She is a SoulCycle instructor in L.A. now. This girl transformed … I absolutely love her. She and I are really good friends. She just had a baby… and they named their baby Harper. We have a very special relationship.”
