It would be logical to assume that Stassi Schroeder met Teddi Mellencamp through Lisa Vanderpump. Lisa was a cast member on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and she started Vanderpump Rules, so it would make sense if she was the link between the two blondes.
However, that’s not actually the case. Stassi’s fiance Beau Clark and Teddi’s husband Edwin Arroyave have actually been friends for years. So, how does Lisa feel about this? Not that anyone wants to be reminded of the awful puppygate drama, but the end to Teddi and Lisa’s friendship was very drawn out.
Stassi appeared on a recent episode of Us Weekly‘s podcast Getting Real With the Housewives. The Vanderpump Rules star confirmed that she helped name Teddi’s daughter Dove. So, apparently, these two are close. Or Teddi just loved Stassi’s creative input and ran with it.
Stassi dished, “Well, Beau has been friends with Edwin for a really long time, and, so I met Teddi through their friendship. Lisa doesn’t care. She’s never messaged me about it or asked me about it.”
That’s when Beau jumped in to say, “She’s not as catty as our friends are.” That’s just his way of saying Lisa is not as catty as some of the Vanderpump Rules cast members. Beau emphasized, “Everyone’s adults.” Technically speaking, the Vanderpump Rules cast is full of adults, despite their antics.
The conversation moved back to Stassi. She remarked, “It’s not like Teddi and I sit around talking about [Lisa]. Do you know what I mean? It’s a completely separate thing. It’s a completely separate friendship.” And that’s the only way it’s gonna work. Otherwise, Stassi knows where her checks are coming from, her role on Lisa’s show.
