Lisa Vanderpump Reacts To Vanderpump Valley Spin-Off Rumors

Is a Vanderpump Rules spin off in the works?  Fans excitedly reacted to a little slip of the tongue by Bravo top dog Andy Cohen, and expectations are high.  Who wouldn’t want a little more Lisa Vanderpump in their lives?  Not to mention the kind of drama, fashion, and parties that we’ve come to expect from her hires.

Here’s what got fans exhilarated.  Reality TV star, Lala Kent, appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live April 11th.  According to an article from Entertainment Online, Andy inadvertently introduced her as “Lala from Vanderpump Valley.”

As the namesake indicates, Lisa has to be involved if there was a spin off.  After all, the successful entrepreneur provided cast and location for all nine seasons of Vanderpump Rules. So reporters took advantage of the opening of Lisa’s new restaurant to ask her if fans can indeed expect more VPR in their lives.

“I don’t think we’re there yet,” Lisa said during the Vanderpump a Paris event in Las Vegas.  “So I’m not saying we won’t be one day.  But no, I can’t validate those rumors.”

Ok, so no Valley themed Vanderpump. That’s a shame, but the reporter pressed Lisa about the possibility of filming in Vanderpump a Paris.

Lisa answered, “It would be a different show if we did a show here because I think it was always about the group and the friendship and how they all kind of grew up together.  So it’d be a different show but of course it is a great canvas.”

Can you imagine how being in Vegas would amplify the boozing, the drama, the fights, and the hookups that made Vanderpump Rules great to watch?  Of course, it’s just a hopeful dream at this point.  Maybe Bravo just wants to focus on the main series.  Season 10 has yet to be confirmed.

So much drama has happened to the cast in real time that it would be crazy NOT to film a tenth season.  Three couples have split including Lala and Randall Emmett, Raquel Leviss and James Kennedy, as well as Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz.

The most surprising was the dissolution of Katie and Tom’s marriage, which Lisa officiated.  Indeed she has a lot to say on the matter, and is emotionally invested with this former couple especially.

“I’m very invested in Katie and Tom’s marriage because I actually officiated the wedding, and I love them very much,” Lisa remarked. “For so many years, hundreds of episodes, I’ve been the kind of matriarch and their mother, but also their adviser and council, not that they have always taken it. I’ve also come to love all of them very much, and I hate it when I see them unhappy.  They say a mother is as happy as her saddest child, and you see it when they’re hurting. I think the whole group feels like that.”

Even Lisa might have some drama if filming resumed for Season 10.  Lala had words of caution for her former boss and questioned Lisa’s friendship with her Randall Tom is also on Lala’s s–t list for playing hanging out with her ex-fiance.  It would be quite the season.

Indeed, Lisa acknowledged the success and longevity of the show.  She explained, “There’s a story that still keeps going, but it’s been 10 years.  But I’m also very aware that the fans are very invested.”

Right, so we need a spin off.  Are there really no plans for expanding the franchise?  “I’m not allowed to say,” Lisa teased, “but, I always know more than you.”
