At the RHODseason 3 reunion, Andy Cohen brought D’Andra’s mother, Mama Dee to the couch as a last-ditch effort to save the ladies’ friendship. Mama Dee gave it her best shot, but it still didn’t look like the two ladies would be hugging it out anytime soon. When the reunion was over, you couldn’t help but wonder if D’Andra and LeAnne would ever be friends again.
Even though they’ve publicly feuded, many reality TV stars gathered with family for Christmas. Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Joe Gorga celebrated Christmas Eve together. But what kind of cookies did they eat? Did Melissa bring some sprinkle cookies? Or did Teresa insist on eating pignoli cookies? Hopefully, they didn’t argue about desserts this year.
Unfortunately, some of the changes and LeeAnne’s life were not positive. The viewers witnessed the demise of LeeAnne and D’Andra Simmons’close friendship. And overall, the more things change, the more they stay the same. In this case, I’m talking about the never-ending strife between LeeAnne and Brandi Redmond.
Sure, Real Housewives Of Dallas could use some tweaking – like please no more Brandi Redmond vs. LeeAnne Locken feuds dominating every season Whew! We have had enough! Having LeeAnne and Brandi become BFF would be totally insincere and producer-driven. I’d like to see them settle into an acquaintanceship where they can have fun together socially (or at least be civil) and leave it at that.
I’d also love to see D’Andra Simmons go back in time and recognize it’s a wig she’s wearing on her head, not a crown, so there is no need to start petty drama with LeeAnne! Those two are much better as friends. They balance each other and have a great dynamic. This season D’Andra got too big for her britches and LeeAnne’s britches already have L’infinity egos.
Supposedly, D’Andra Simmons wants to be the queen of Real Housewives of Dallas. That status is up for debate (even though it should belong to an OG cast member). However, it does seem like Part 2 of the RHOD Season 3 reunion centers around D’Andra Simmons.
I mean, her mother even shows up to share her side of the story as if she’s one of the Housewives. Plus, LeeAnne Locken and Kameron Westcott are out to expose her (alleged) lies. If this is what’s like to be “queen” of Real Housewives of Dallas, does D’Andra still want that crown?
The ladies of Real Housewives Of Dallas entered the ring with their guns blazing, their stilettos sharpened like razors, and their eyes shooting daggers through the 64 layers of wet look eyeshadow. Their dresses are designed to blind, confuse, and kill as all the sequins reflect off everyone’s egos causing insanity.
I actually think Andy Cohen was on fire last night and was a great moderator; pushing back against the nastiness and crap.
This reunion is all about D’Andra Simmons, and her feuds with literally everyone. Which is apt because the very first thing that was discussed was Beaver Creek and the fight D’Andra had with LeeAnne Locken over who is the queen of Real Housewives Of Dallas.
Y’all. LeeAnne Locken has stolen the show with her meditative bowls and never-ending dress situation. Sure, on the last season of Real Housewives of Dallas, LeeAnne was scaring us all with sordid details about the Round-Up and her murder hands. Lately, Brandi Redmond has actually made LeeAnne somewhat (somewhat, but not really) sympathetic to viewers. Not to mention, it was nice to see her getting along with Stephanie Hollman and finding an ally in Kameron Wescott as her friendship with D’Andra Simmons crumbled.
LeeAnne has a lot to say about Brandi’s behavior this season, and she finds it laughable that her nemesis could stir up trouble and start fights only to cry the victim card. Hmmmm…does that pattern sound familiar to her? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so perhaps LeeAnne should take Brandi’s boorishness as a compliment. Regardless, I cannot wait for the RHOD reunion tonight!
