We’ve definitely seen more of THE HUSBAND on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season. Of course, “the husband” is Harry Hamlin, Italian chef extraordinaire. It seems Lisa Rinna is strategically bringing him around so we don’t have to really talk about him. While we’ve seen Harry, we really haven’t seen much of Amelia Hamlin and Delilah Hamlin.
We have however heard a lot about Amelia, 20, and boyfriend – forever man-child, Scott Disick, 38. Rinna is pretending to be put off but inside she must be cackling about how much attention this pairing brings her family. In fact, attention and Rinna go hand in hand. This woman has no qualms about shilling for diapers – a check is a check is a check to this hustler. Bottom line, Rinna must have some good advice for being in the public eye.
Vanderpump Rules Season 9 is fast approaching, and there’s no doubt it will be a season unlike any other. Half of the OG cast “left” (aka got fired) from the show after last season for various displays of bad behavior. That includes new dad Jax Taylor, which is still a shocking concept to wrap my head around. Jax has been a VPR OG since the early days and his bad-boy antics ranged from entertaining to downright toxic. He’s stolen sunglasses. He’s blown up on his friends. He cheated on his fiance. The list goes on. And while Jax might not be missed by many on the next season, his absence will truly be somewhat alarming.
Jax and Brittany Cartwright are new parents battling with their bookkeeper and weirdos on Instagram who make fake accounts pretending to be their newborn baby. They hang out with fellow
disgraced former Pump Rules parents Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark. Jax has definitely shown he’s pretty bitter about his alleged firing, saying that he didn’t even want to be a part of the phoniness anyway. Which disputes his early claims regarding his excitement to start filming Season 9. And you know who’s laughing all the way to the bank to cash their Bravo check that Jax misses so much? Miss Charli Burnett who never eats pasta. And that’s on that.
Vanderpump Rules is getting ready for a comeback – if you can call it a comeback. The show isn’t going to be the same as it once was when it premiers, even if we’re going to see some familiar faces. Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, James Kennedy, Lala Kent, Scheana Marie, and Raquel Leviss are all returning.
We won’t be seeing Beer Cheese Moguls Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright because they “stepped away.” We also won’t be seeing OGs Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute – 2/3 of the Witches of WeHo – due to racist actions. And thankfully, we won’t be seeing any of those one-season wonders no one cared about to begin with. The faces might be changing on Pump Rules, but so are the lifestyles of these former SURvers. Everyone is either married, engaged, and/or a new parent. The most shocking change of all though is that James got sober and is now engaged to bambi-eyed b*itch Raquel.
The stars of Vanderpump Rules have really undergone a lot of change throughout the past year or so. There’s been firings, engagements, weddings and lots of babies. The rag-tag Sur group has gone from waiting tables and giving Lisa Vanderpump anxiety with their drunken antics to becoming parents, writing books and being real-ass adults. Season 9 is currently filming, and who even knows what it’s going to look like. Scheana Shay is a new mom, but will probably still be waiting tables at Sur in her crop tops and high ponytails that we know and love. Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Tom Schwartz are trying to jump on the VPR pregnancy train as well. Raquel Leviss and James Kennedy just got engaged and might be the new fan-favorites next season.
The one thing that’s sure to be the same is that Lala Kent, who debated even returning to VPR as a mom, will cause some drama. She’s always been one to speak her mind and defend herself to the end, whether she’s sober or not. She and Scheana, who were feuding while pregnant, have apparently made up now that they’re new moms. Lala has some beef with Ariana Madix that the show will likely dive into. And she’s continuing on her journey of sobriety and dreaming of having more babies with Randall Emmett rather than devising drunken plots to ruin his vacation by defiling his toothbrush, among other things.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Lisa Vanderpump is living her best life right now. Vanderpump Rules, after floating in limbo, is finally going to start shooting Season 9.
The show will have a face lift of sorts, since “OG” cast members Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder were fired for racist behavior in June of 2020. Lisa made it clear that she would have preferred to see the fired VPR stars learn and grow from their mistakes, but it wasn’t her decision. Jax Taylor and his wife Brittany Cartwright also left the show.
Lala Kent has a lot going on right now. In March, she welcomed baby Ocean with Randall Emmett, and Give Them Lala, her first book, came out earlier this month. This is all perfect timing considering Vanderpump Rules is finally filming Season 9.
Needless to say, Pump Rules is going to look a lot different this year. For instance, Lala and co-star Scheana Marie are both moms now, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute won’t be around, and everyone’s favorite sociopath “stepped away.”Oh! and sober James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss got engaged. The days of drunken escapades, messy fights, and telling your boss to suck a dick are long gone. Now, VPR is apparently all about marriage, babies, real estate, and financial security.
Cast members old and new from Vanderpump Rules have jumped on the pregnancy pact and became parents throughout the last few months. Stassi Schroeder, Brittany Cartwright, Lala Kent and Scheana Shay are all new mommies and sharing the new baby bliss with one another. Season 9 has also already started filming, so we’ll get a chance to see Lala and Scheana take on this totally new part of their lives.
Scheana is the most recent Pump Rules cast member to have a baby, giving birth to Summer Moon Honey Davies in April. Summer Moon is her rainbow baby after she suffered a miscarriage last year, and it’s amazing to see Scheana go from bartending in a high pony to dressing her baby in avocado outfits, with her lashes on fleek of course.
Following her book release and the Vanderpump Rules season 9 filming announcement, Lala Kent is giving statements left and right. She’s starting to come for her remaining co-stars. And her fellow Utahns! Has she no loyalty?
Lala’s book did not take it easy on her since fired VPR co-stars Stassi Schroder and Kristen Doute. That fact is likely unsurprising to anyone who remembers the treatment Lala endured in her early scenes on the show. More recently, however, Lala equated the two witches’ VPR departure to a death. A bit hyperbolic, to say the least. But what does any
self-assigned superwoman hanger-on do following a “wrongful” act? Seek vengeance. And here we are.
