Who even knows what’s going to happen to Vanderpump Rules. The entire cast went and had a baby or got “left” the show last year, in some cases both. We hear Season 9 is set to happen, but several OGs will not appear. Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, to name a few. It seems like time is up for Pump Rules, especially considering most of the cast hasn’t worked at Lisa Vanderpump’s famed restaurants in years.
Long gone are the old days of the VPR stars throwing drinks at each other or sneaking wine on the job. They’re real ass adults now — Jax loves to mow the lawn (and allegedly not pay his taxes). Lala Kent is a new mom and Scheana Shay’s baby is on the way. They all bought fancy houses where you can use the air conditioner and microwave at the same time. And some of the old antics just make us cringe now, particularly Jax’s bad behavior.
After a questionable amount of time off, rumor has it there will be another season of Vanderpump Rules coming our way. Unless you’ve been under a rock, you know the next go around is going to look very different. Basically half the season 8 cast has left and/or made a baby in the last year.
After being fired for her racist behavior, Stassi Schroeder’s new PR team worked swiftly to get her baby news out. Not a bad deflection, I guess. She even doubled it down with her statements about wanting to turn to drugs following the public criticism of her behavior. She claimed her pregnancy “saved her.” I love the part where Stassi wants sympathy for public scrutiny which only happened because she publicly (and incorrectly [and racistly]) scrutinized someone!!! Miss me with this self-inflicted struggle.
Lisa Vanderpump of the Dahling That’s Just My British Humor Vanderpumps, has been doing media for her new show over on the E! channel. While she “overserves” d-list celebrities at her home, people continue to wonder about the fate of Vanderpump Rules, which continues to hang on a very thin thread. The show has struggled to make a return since half the cast was fired for past racial indiscretions. It might be time to give this horse a nice ceremony and let it die in peace.
Along with Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and two rando guys no one remembers, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright also departed the program. But how they left is up for debate. If you ask Jax and Brittany, they voluntarily left to “work on their growing family“. Recently Lisa gave an interview on the possible future of VPR, and ended any speculation of how Jax and Brittany went out. Now it seems Lisa could very well become a member of the #blockedbyjax club.
Lala Kent has someone to share her nightly baby bottles with. Yes, the Vanderpump Rules cast member is officially a mom! She and her fiancé Randall Emmett have welcomed a baby girl, their first child together.
Randall already has two daughters, Rylee and London, with his ex-wife, You actress Ambyr Childers.
In June 2020, Stassi Schroder was fired from Vanderpump Rules in response to her multiple offensive and racist acts, including but not limited to accusing Faith Stowers of committing a crime with zero evidence and complaining about the Black community’s desire for representation in film. She has also called herself “Nazi chic.” Stassi even denounced the #MeToo movement.
She got a “diversity teacher,” but it didn’t make a huge difference. She lost brand deals, her podcast was dropped from all platforms, and she got the boot from her agent and manager. Then, she hired a crisis PR team
and planted stories of herself picking up food from restaurants. And, in the midst of all that, the news broke that she was pregnant with her first child. She married Beau Clark. And now, she’s a mom in need of income.
It seems like forever since Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were fired from Vanderpump Rules for their racist behavior. Two newbies, Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens were also axed for their racial insensitivity on June 9, 2020.
Stassi lost many brand endorsement deals, and her podcast was yanked from all platforms. There were rumblings in August of 2020 that Stassi might get a show of her own, but the talks never came to fruition.
Very few people actually quit a Bravo reality TV show. Usually, they are afforded the courtesy of putting out some nonsensical statement about “looking forward to future projects”
that never actually come to fruition to save face. However, most people don’t just quit these shows. The Bravo paychecks and the endorsement deals that come from the exposure are a lot to give up.
In June 2020, Bravo fired Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni for their racist behaviors. In response, some people wanted to know why Jax Taylor wasn’t included in that list of firings. Faith Stowers accused Jax’s wife Brittany Cartwright of using racial slurs.
Congratulations are in order Real Housewives of Dallas OG cast member Brandi Redmond. She and her husband Bryan Redmond have welcomed their fourth child to the family.
They already had two daughters, 11-year-old Brooklyn and and 9-year-old Brinkley, in addition to their son Bruin, who is two years old.
