Anastasia Surmava - Below Deck Mediterranean

Problems in the kitchen continue on tonight’s Below Deck Mediterranean. Not wanting to fire Chef Mila Kolomeitseva midway through the season without having a replacement lined up Captain Sandy Yawn promotes Anastasia Surmava to run dinner after another disastrous breakfast for the guests.

Hannah Ferrier can’t believe Mila hasn’t been fired, as she struggles to manage her workload with Anastasia being requisitioned to help with food. Joao Franco continues to be emotional over Brooke Laughton and turns to Captain Sandy for support. Captain Sandy continues to be impressed with his work ethic and sees him as a changed man. But will it stick?

Colin Macy-O’Toole doesn’t feel like he connects with most of the crew and battles homesickness. Jack Stirrup and Aesha Scott, on the other hand, start to really connect with each other, and their flirting becomes obvious to the other crew members.

With Captain Sandy once again struggling to salvage Dr. Jen‘s trip on her yacht, she opts to treat the guests to lunch ashore rather than have Mila screw up another meal. Things boil over between Hannah and Mila when Hannah spots her using another shortcut which has Hannah questioning Mila’s resume.

Then Anastasia serves a controversial choice for dinner’s first course which has the guest and Captain Sandy sending it back. Hannah is once again in the position of dealing with guests who don’t like the food and won’t eat it! With all the disastrous meals, the crew wonders if Dr. Jen‘s group will even leave a tip.
