Lala Kent Apologizes For Being “An Asshole” To Raquel Leviss

Who would have thought that Vanderpump Rules Season 8 would be the season when we all get behind Raquel Leviss. We have Lala Kent to thank for that. She has been unnecessarily cruel and antagonistic to Raquel. From what we’ve seen, Raquel has been nice and gracious. It’s quite the contrast.

Meanwhile, Lala just goes in insult after insult, trying to rile this woman up. Two weeks ago, Lala attempted to “out” James Kennedy be rekindling the rumor that he hooked up with one-time best friend Logan Noh. Talk about crossing a line! It was also completely unrelated to the topic they were discussing. Then, on this week’s episode, she had the nerve to try and spin it around and act as if Raquel is the one obsessed with “Logan.” Girl, you are the one who brought this up, not Raquel.

Lala had some pre-rehearsed rant about reminding Raquel what her place is in this group. Meanwhile, Raquel isn’t the one challenging her out of nowhere. All, she’s done is respectfully stand up for herself.

Lala used to be so funny and refreshing to watch. Now, she’s just plain mean. Why is she coming for Raquel, of all people? During the episode, Charli Burnett theorized that Lala was in love with James. I don’t buy that one, but I just want to know why this woman seemed so intent on bringing down James and Raquel.

Fast forward to the present day, Lala and James just released a song together. It’s called “Playboy Bunny” in case anyone was wondering. So, clearly, they’re cool now. And if these two are fine, I’m gonna assume Raquel and Lala are as well, by default.

In an Instagram post, Lala wrote, “Raquel, I’m sorry I’ve been an asshole. ‘If we can’t all agree Lala’s a bully, we can all agree she’s a bitch.’ This had me rolling. Nice work on that bite.”

So, that’s not exactly the emotional apology I was hoping for, but at least she gave Raquel credit for uttering that spot-on sentiment. Maybe Lala also apologizes later on in the season and that’s why the Instagram post is so brief? Or, the most likely scenario, I’m giving Lala way too much credit.

While, I don’t think it was the best apology in the world, my opinion doesn’t really matter since I’m not actually involved in this situation. In response, Raquel commented, “Onward and upward from here.”
