Real Housewives of New Jersey didn’t seem like Dina Manzo‘s happy place when she reluctantly appeared on it in her last season. But no matter! She’s found her happy place in real life now, with younger love interest, businessman Dave Cantin. The couple met through work in Dina’s charitable organization, Project Ladybug.
After her divorce, Dina says she was sort of “done” with dating. “I was fine just never falling in love again,” says Dina, but adds “you know, I guess some things happen when you’re not really looking for it.” Cantin was also in the process of divorcing when the duo met. Dina attributes their compatibility to their shared passion for helping others. She says she and Dave are both “really passionate about helping children with cancer,” which is the mission of Project Ladybug.
If you follow the ladies on social media, it is obvious that they are BFF’s now, but that is a major turnaround compared to the drama and animosity the viewers are used to seeing between them on the show. I cannot wait to see how they go from glorified enemies to genuinely loyal best friends. I never thought this would happen, but I’m super happy about it and so are they.
Is it July 10 yet? It has been way too long since the Real Housewives of New Jersey has blessed us with new episodes. Thankfully the show waited for its queen Teresa Giudice to return after her prison stint. The show is nothing without her and obviously her return home is going to bring in a lot viewers who want to see how she’s holding up.
To promote the show, Teresa has been doing a lot of press and has addressed how she is doing while her husband is in prison. Not only am I pumped to see the Giudice family, but I’m also excited to see how things are for the rest of the cast when this new season starts and a great way to figure that out is to get a sneak peak at the ladies new tag lines.
It has been way too long since the last season of Real Housewives of New Jersey. I am way too excited to see Teresa Giudice back on TV. The queen is back- well, she will be soon. I have watched the RHONJa million times and July 10 just seems like forever to wait for the premiere date.
Andy Cohen has the best job ever (for many reasons) and my latest reason to be jealous of his existence is that he got to watch the RHONJ premiere already. In fact, he has seen it more than once and he had a very emotional response to it.
Last year Teresa and Joe were nailed with a $551,000 tax lien, and this year the State Of NJ is after them for owing another $250k in back taxes. People it is not that difficult. I mean: GET TURBOTAX! Or maybe the issue comes in the writing the checks portion of the exchange? Anyway… the Giudices are again in trouble for not paying the IRS.
The trailers left us with more questions than answers and we can’t wait for both train wrecks to blow back into our living rooms. Until those days arrive, let’s dish on the upcoming seasons. Andy Cohen popped in this week on Amy Phillips’Reality Checked radio show. He dished for a few minutes on some things we can expect coming up for Real Housewives of New York, Dallas and New Jersey. Andy shared what made him cry this week, what we can expect from an insane RHONY secret, why Erika Jayne is hooked on a particular Housewives show and more!
Andy shared with Amy that next week’s episode of Real Housewives of New York is something we cannot miss. “The entire thing takes place over two and a half hours at Dorinda’s house in the Berkshires. It’s like a one act play, it’s like a drawing room comedy, with some blood. Like a couple murders, basically. You may need hours to dissect next week’s episode. Bethenny dismembers Luann, basically, within the first six minutes of the show in a way that I’ve never seen.” But he says with all the drama and insanity, it’s still funny as only RHONY can be in the midst of drama.
