Vanderpump Rules Lala Kent

Lala Kent Says Scenes With New Vanderpump Rules Cast Are Basically A “Commercial Break” In Between Storylines She Cares About

Aside from Scheana Marie’s love triangles and Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval’s managerial time at TomTom, most of the Vanderpump Rules cast members have nothing to do with the millions of new people who randomly joined the cast. It honestly feels like we are watching two different shows at the same time.

Lala Kent joined the show in Season 4, so she knows what it’s like to be on the outside of the Pump Rules crew, but she has no sympathy for these new people. Of course, no one is shocked by that, but she does recognize that the show is so disjointed, which many viewers feel these days.

On a recent episode of her Give Them Lala…. With Randall podcast, Lala announced, “I know you are all in quarantine and need to hear some shade. I’m about to throw it.” That’s quite the lofty statement there, given the current state of the world. But, moving on to the shade at hand.

Lala declared, “I cannot deal with these new people. You guys, I’m gonna be fucking honest, I record the show and then I watch it. I have to fast forward for like a while.”

Lala told her fiancé Randall Emmett, “I’m not bashing the new people. I’m spitting mad truth.” He told her, “That’s not nice,” but she kept on going.

Lala said, “The new people is like a commercial that’s started.” She added, “It takes me out of what’s happening.” Lala explained, “The new people coming on is like ‘Fuck, I got wait through a commercial to see what happens’ during a storyline I’m invested in.” I’m not gonna lie, it’s hard to care about Dayna Kathan and Max Boyens‘ failed romance. Lala, I get that, girl.

Lala continued, “I’m interested in what’s happening with the Witches of WeHo. I want to dive into everything. I want to see what’s happening with Tom Sandoval and Jax [Taylor].” Randall responded, “You just bashed the new people and you equated them to a commercial.” And Lala insisted, “This is just factual, how I feel. It has nothing to do with [them] personally. The new people are a commercial.”

Randall said to Lala, “You basically just told the new cast that they’re not cast members, they’re the commercial in between the show.” Lala replied, “That’s how I feel.”

Randall shared, “I know Max. He’s very kind. I’ve had a couple of conversations with him on the phone.” Lala said what many of us are thinking: “You guys talk on the phone?” Randall clarified, “Two times, I think. He’s very nice.” Lala wondered, “What the fuck is happening in this house when I’m not around? You’re just having bromances with the Vanderpump cast?”

Then, Randall forgot Dayna’s name before he shared, “I love Dayna. She’s a great person. She’s very kind,” which Lala agreed to. Randall concluded, “I just think they’re authentic people.”

Lala said, “You named two out of the however many people. There are a lot of people who feel the same way that you do. For me, all the new storylines is a fucking commercial.”

Randall reminded Lala, “Everybody has to start somewhere in the world.” And we all remember when Lala joined the cast, skipping fake filmed shifts at SUR for “modeling” jobs on a yacht.
