Kyle Richards Confirms She Has Coronavirus; Her Daughter Sophia Umansky Has It Too

When Real Housewives of Beverly Hills paused production in November, the word on the street (I.e. the internet) was that there was a positive covid test from a member of the production team. Then, Kyle Richards started drop some not-at-all-subtle hints that she had coronavirus on Thanksgiving when she publicly thanked Teddi Mellencamp for bringing Thanksgiving dinner for her family since Kyle was too sick to cook. Does anyone actually believe that Kyle was going to cook a whole Thanksgiving dinner?

Soon after Kyle posted that, it was reported that Kyle, Kyle’s sister Kathy Hilton, and Dorit Kemsley all have coronavirus. However, it’s been reported that they do not have severe symptoms and we are wishing them all the best.

For a few days, Kyle, Kathy, and Dorit all ignored the reports about having coronavirus, which was most likely a move to keep a “spoiler” under wraps for next season. However, Kyle finally confirmed that she contracted the virus via Instagram.
Kyle posted a photo of her family Christmas card, writing, “I love these people so much.” Then she said, “Some of you may have heard I have COVID. I got it after these photos were taken.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG revealed, “Since I was diagnosed I have been separated from my family in order to keep them healthy. Unfortunately, [daughter] Sophia [Umansky] also got it. We will stay in isolation until it’s safe to see the family and others again . I can’t wait to hug them.”

In response to Kyle’s confirmation, Snooki commented, “STUNNING FAMILY. god bless , praying for your speedy recoveries.” Sutton Stracke wrote, “Beautiful family. get well soon! And that lovely Sophia.”
Dorit didn’t address the coronavirus of it all, instead typing out “So beautiful.” Kim Richards and Lisa Rinna just commented with some red heart emojis. New Beverly Hills Housewife Crystal Kung Minkoff shared that she was sending “virtual hugs from afar.”
Former New York Housewife Jill Zarin wrote, “Feel better!!” Dallas Housewife Stephanie Hollman commented on the beautiful photo. Additionally, her co-star Kameron Westcott wrote, “Hope you’re hanging in there!!”
We hope that Kyle, Sophia, Kathy, and Dorit all have a speedy recovery and that they are getting as much rest as possible these days.
