Kyle Richards Says Real Housewives”Was Terrible” & “Anxiety-Provoking” Until Lisa Vanderpump Left; Claims Lisa Demanded The Center Diamond

Lisa Vanderpump left Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after the infamous “puppygate” scandal. When Lisa’s bestie, Kyle Richards, accused Lisa of lying and spreading tabloid stories about Dorit Kemsley and her “rehomed” pup, it was the death knell of their friendship.

But while Lisa is no longer on RHOBH, she and Kyle still trade barbs in the press. There was even a shady fight between Kyle, Lisa, and former RHOBH co-star, Camille Grammer. Camille claimed that someone told her about Erika Jayne’s husband, Tom Girardi’s, financial problems years ago. This occurred at Andy Cohen’s baby shower. Kyle co-hosted the lavish shower in January of 2019, but Lisa didn’t attend.

Then Lisa hinted that it was Kyle who gossiped behind Erika’s back. On October 5, 2021, Camille tweeted, “To set the record straight it was Kyle who told me Tom was in trouble during @Andy baby shower.” Camille is a Twitter gangster, and I’m here for it.

A follower posted a screenshot of Camille’s Twitter accusation on Instagram. Of course, Lisa weighed in, posting “Truth always comes out lol.” Kyle hit back, commenting “This is so contrived. These two [are] talking about RHOBH more than the ACTUAL cast does #thankyou.” Kyle’s not wrong.

According to Reality Blurb!, Kyle discussed filming the show with Lisa during the December 9, 2021 episode of Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp’s Two T’s in a Pod podcast. Of course, Teddi is a boring RHOBH alum, and Kyle’s bestie.

Kyle recalled how Lisa made a specific demand about the opening credits. Kyle remarked, “She said she wasn’t going to hold the diamond off to the side… Do you remember they used to make us [hold it out in each direction] and then you didn’t know [who would end up in the center]?” The actress added, “She would only do center because she didn’t want to be on the side.”

After Lisa exited the franchise, Kyle felt that RHOBH “changed” and improved. “In doing a show like this, there’s always somebody you think, ‘Oh, I gotta watch my back. This one could be doing this or that,’” Kyle shared. “And we don’t have that anymore. I don’t feel like anybody is home digging up stuff. And when it felt like that, it was terrible,” she added. “It was so anxiety-provoking.”

Kyle acknowledged that her friendship with Lisa is over. Duh. Kyle admitted that she is “sad” about the end of their long-time friendship. “If I care about somebody and we have a falling out, I lose sleep over that,” she said. “I get very upset over things like that.”

Lisa previously said that she wants to hear an apology from Kyle, but I think that will happen when hell freezes over.
