Scheana Shay Claims Brock Davies Paid For Her Engagement Ring With Multiple Credits Cards “To Be Funny”

Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules has come to a close. It was a bit of a dull season, but the finale episode and reunion really delivered, so I’m hoping they just needed a season to re-adjust after all the shake-ups that happened the last two years. There was, however, one new edition who, depending on how you look at it, saved the show: Brock Davies.

I know people may disagree, but let’s face it, Brock was involved in a lot of the drama! Not only did Brock, Scheana Shay’s fiancé, get into the most fights this season with Lala Kent and James Kennedy, he also gave us lots of unintentional comedy. A grand opportunist, Brock literally thought, “no biggie, I’ll get Randall Emmett to pay for my surprise engagement/wedding to Scheana.” When that obviously didn’t pan out, he attempted to use the beautiful setting of James and Raquel Leviss’ engagement as the backdrop for his own wedding. Because that’s not totally inappropriate or tacky! Needless to say, Scheana has had to defend Brock a lot, including the way he paid for her engagement ring.

In an exclusive interview with Us WeeklyScheana“clarified the ‘incorrect’ rumors about Brock Davies after fans questioned why he purchased her engagement ring with multiple credit cards” on the show. It was one of the most cringe-worthy moments we’ve ever witnessed on VPR, and at no point did it look like he was using four credit cards to be funny.

“I like to correct people,” Scheana begins. “If you don’t like me based on the correct information and full story, that’s fine.” However, she says that “Brock thought it would be funny to put a little bit on each card.” Totally, I get it, how funny, or wait, is it? “He could have put it all on one card, but he was like, ‘Oh, I’ll put a little bit on this a little bit on that.’” Not sure where the joke part is here.

Apparently, Scheana says, “Brock’s decision to split the cost was a joke that didn’t land withVanderpump Rules viewers.” It definitely did not!  “I thought it was funny,” Scheana said, adding, “People in Australia who get that cheap type of humor thought it was funny.” Who knew Aussies had a special kind of humor about being cheap. We learn something new every day!

Scheana continued to defend Brock, and said, “He’s, like, ‘Yeah, I’ll always be a cheap ass. I’m always gonna ask for a discount.’ We will be at Target and Brock is like, ‘Oh, can I get my employee discount?’ It’s a joke. So, people who don’t get his humor, whatever.”

Who else can picture Brock actually asking for an employee discount at Target? I’ll bet he’s not joking either, and that he’s asking because he’s really trying for a discount. Here’s hoping Scheana has her head on straight with this funny guy.

TELL US- WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT BROCK’S SENSE OF HUMOR? WAS HE BEING FUNNY PAYING FOR SCHEANA’S ENGAGEMENT RING? OR DID HE NEED FOUR CARDS? DID YOU WATCH THE REUNION?
