Melissa Gorga Says Jennifer Aydin “Not Authentic”; Says Jennifer Is “Putting It On A Lot”

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga has a lot on her plate this season. Her husband, Joe Gorga, was feuding with his sister Teresa Giudice’s eldest daughter, Gia Giudice. Joe made some comments about Teresa’s ex-husband, “Juicy” Joe Giudice, and Gia wasn’t happy.

And RHONJ co-star Margaret Josephs was bringing up uncomfortable questions about the past of Teresa’s fiancé, Luis “Louie” Ruelas. Teresa was pissed and wanted to protect her man. This puts Melissa right in the middle of their drama. That’s not a comfortable place to be.

Season 12 started off hot with Margaret revealing that Jennifer Aydin’s husband, Bill Aydin, cheated on her. Jennifer didn’t deny that Bill had an affair ten years ago while she was pregnant. Margaret said that she outed Jennifer’s secret because Jennifer was “not honest with everybody” and was a hypocrite. In the past, Jennifer had called out Margaret, and Margaret’s mother, for dating married men. Both Margaret and Melissa claimed that they heard the gossip about Bill’s infidelity years ago.

Jennifer and Melissa have always been at odds. Melissa called out Jennifer for using her family as her only story line. Meanwhile, Jennifer slammed Melissa for creating fake story lines. Missing sister, anyone?

During the most recent episode of RHONJ, Melissa called Jennifer “a hater” and Jennifer knocked Joe as a “little bitch girl.” Melissa got in Jennifer’s face, and Jennifer grabbed her arm. Security had to separate the ladies, but no tables were flipped during the scuffle.

In an interview with Page Six, Melissa discussed her inability to relate to Jennifer. “I just don’t speak her language. I’ve always struggled with Jennifer because I’m fine arguing with someone, but … I never feel like she’s authentic,” Melissa stated. “I feel like she walks in the room and she’s like, ‘Hmm, what should I do today?’”

Melissa claimed that she can argue “all day” with her co-stars Margaret, Jackie Goldschneider, Dolores Catania, and her sister-in-law Teresa. But that isn’t the case with Jennifer. Melissa remarked, “I tend to dismiss her a lot in my head because I never believe what she’s saying is really how she feels. She’s kind of, like, putting it on a lot. I just don’t read her as an authentic [person],” the podcast host added. Ouch.

Melissa and Jennifer have been squabbling since Jennifer joined the RHONJ cast in Season 9. “It’s always rough for me with her. I’m just like, ‘Sit down,’” Melissa commented.

Melissa continued, “There is a lot that goes on with her this season … we get to see a lot of the inside of what’s going on [within the Aydin family] and maybe why she acts the way she does and why she acts up. We definitely talk it out a little bit this season,” she explained.

“I’ve never seen [Jennifer] cry so much as she did this season. Where I wouldn’t normally even bother with her, I completely did,” Melissa shared. “You will see our relationship evolve this season, finally.”

Jennifer told Page Six that she hoped that she could mend her relationships with Melissa, Jackie, and Margaret during Season 12 of RHONJ. Good luck with that, girl.

“My personality is one that doesn’t hold grudges,” Jennifer explained. “I count on myself for being, like, ‘OK, that wasn’t so nice. Why don’t we talk?’ I’m big about trying to communicate with somebody and finding a way to make it work or make it better,” the mom of five added.

But Jennifer is often ganged up on by the trio. “I’m alone by myself. It is very hurtful, and it’s a very heavy weight on my shoulders when I feel like it’s all three against me,” Jennifer said. So, why isn’t Teresa by Jennifer’s side? Just saying.
