Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has been feuding with her co-stars over her fiancé, Luis “Louie” Ruelas. Margaret Josephs hasn’t been shy about questioning Louie’s past. There is the odd video of Louie on a beach with a group of men. When Louie tried to explain what the video was about, he made zero sense. I think his explanation made it worse.
Melissa Gorga, Teresa’s sister-in-law, felt that Louie was “aggressive” towards Margaret. Teresa is staying in her “love bubble” and none of her RHONJ co-stars is going to stop her.
Teresa was admitted to the hospital on March 23, 2022, and underwent an “emergency medical procedure,” per Page Six. “She is in recovery, currently resting, and she thanks everyone for their prayers and well-wishes,” Teresa’s rep said. She underwent surgery on March 24, 2022 for a “non-cosmetic” procedure. Teresa’s rep added that she was expected to be discharged from the hospital “within the next 24 hours.”
Gia Giudice, Teresa’s eldest daughter, shared a selfie of her mother in a hospital bed on her Instagram Story on March 24, 2022. She said that Teresa had been admitted to the hospital. Gia wrote on the selfie, “Such a trooper. I love you. Pray for a speedy recovery.” She added, “I love you @teresagiudice.”
On March 28, 2022, Dolores Catania, Teresa’s bestie, gave an update on Teresa’s medical condition. Dolores told E! News, “She had her appendix out. Now it just takes time to heal.” Dolores added, “But it was emergency surgery so she’s in a lot of pain.”
Dolores commented that she “just spoke to” her friend and “she’s not well.” I can imagine after having emergency surgery. “She’s not feeling good at all,” Dolores stated. “It’s bad. She’s in a tremendous amount of pain.”
E! News reported that Teresa’s rep confirmed that she was resting. “She is recuperating and is looking forward to a speedy recovery. She thanks everyone for their prayers and well-wishes,” Teresa’s rep stated.
Even Teresa’s ex-husband, Joe Giudice, asked for prayers for Teresa. He posted the same photo that Gia shared to his Instagram, writing, “Please pray for Teresa as she’s been admitted to the hospital.”

There seems to be a possible rift between Dolores and Teresa. Teresa told her Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip co-stars that no one on RHONJ had ever had her back. Dolores remarked, “No, I don’t agree with that. Yeah, I feel I have [had Teresa’s back],” she stated. “I’ve gotten a lot of slack for it at times, but I don’t mind doing it. She’s my friend.” Dolores has always been loyal to Teresa.
While Teresa is busy preparing for her upcoming nuptials to Louie, the bride-to-be gave out a few details about their big day. During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Teresa shared that the wedding will be this summer, and that she will have eight women in her bridal party. But none of her co-stars will be standing up for her. I didn’t think that Melissa would be asked but I’m surprised that Dolores didn’t make the cut.
