The Real Housewives Of New York City Cast Are Allegedly Blaming Each Other For RHONY Legacy Falling Apart

Let the blame game begin! The Real Housewives of New York CityLegacy” spinoff has officially been put on pause. Page Six reported that the cast members are pointing fingers at each other over why the show fell apart. Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, and Luann de Lesseps were all reportedly in talks to join the spinoff. But now sources say the show is officially dead.

Rumors about the RHONY spinoff being in jeopardy started circulating earlier this week. Page Six previously reported that Bravo had “lost interest” in the show. Insiders from the network blamed the RHONY cast for asking for too much money. Sources close to the Housewives slammed the network for trying to lowball their veteran cast members.

Andy Cohen recently wrote on Twitter not to “believe everything you read” regarding RHONY: Legacy. Countess Luann confirmed that the negotiations had stalled. Headlines surrounding the show’s demise all over the news. The women who were ready to start filming are reportedly frustrated with the other Housewives who tried holding out for more money.

A source claimed that real estate icon and jellybean aficionado Kelly Bensimon was ready to get back into the world of the Housewives. According to an insider close to Kelly, Jill’s “pushing for a big payday was the straw that broke the camel’s back” in the negotiations.

Sources also alleged that Sonja was “barely paying attention” throughout the negotiation process. Sounds like the typical Sonjarita we so desperately need to see back on our screens. She and Luann did film a separate spinoff called Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake earlier this year. There’s still been no official word on when that’s coming to our screens either.

The insider close to the RHONY: Legacy negotiation table also said that Dorinda was ready to be taken off pause and had agreed to the terms of the contract. But, with other cast members holding out for more money, it caused the whole deal to collapse.

Bravo didn’t respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Of course, we don’t know how much of this is accurate. It’s honestly hard to imagine any of these former Housewives jeopardizing a return to television. I firmly believe that Bravo needs to go ahead and break open their checkbook and give these RHONY OGs whatever they’re demanding. The suspense of a lingering RHONY: Legacy could cause the recast RHONY Season 14 to start on a sour note.

TELL US – DO YOU BELIEVE THE HOUSEWIVES ARE BLAMING EACH OTHER FOR RHONY LEGACY FALLING APART? DO YOU THINK WE’LL EVER SEE THIS SHOW COME TO LIFE?
