Kyle Richards Says Her Relationship With Kathy Hilton Is "Not Great Since The Reunion"

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been on a much-needed pause for a bit. It’s coming back for Season 13 sooner or later. Thankfully, Lisa Rinna has also been put on pause after her messiest season yet. It was time for Rinna to go and for the Fox Force Five to lose some traction. I, for one, would like to see one Lisa replace another and for the network to bring back Lisa Vanderpump. Hey, we all have dreams, don’t we?

Despite a cast shakeup, it’s safe to assume that Kyle Richards will be returning to RHOBH. She’s an OG, after all, and there’s too much unfinished business between her and her sister, Kathy Hilton. Kyle and Kathy have issues that go back decades. Rinna was able to muck things up yet again with a shot of 818 Tequila and an agenda. The tension came to a head during the last reunion, where Kathy and Kyle didn’t leave on great terms. Now, in a statement to Page Six, she isn’t giving any indication that Season 13 will start off any differently.

Kyle was asked recently by the outlet if she’d been in contact with her sister. Kathy has been busy celebrating a lot lately. Not only did she finally take down Rinna, but she also became a grandma via Paris Hilton. Kyle didn’t make it seem like they’ve all been one big happy family. “I haven’t seen her in a while,” Kyle said. “Things are not great since the reunion to be honest.”

RHOBH is gearing up to film in a few weeks, but Kyle didn’t seem too excited about a forced reunion with her sister. “Welcome to my life,” she said. “My life is awkward all the time. OK, Kyle. This is a classic example of Kyle just wanting to play the fence and be liked. It’s the only assessment I’ll actually agree with Rinna about.

Kyle has never shown blind loyalty to her sisters on RHOBH. She’s loyal to whoever backs up her motives, which tends to be the FFF. It’s caused not only issues on the TV show, but actual issues among her sisters. But as I always say, I’m not going to pretend to truly understand a fraction of the issues of Kyle and Kathy’s relationship. Hopefully, the two can truly work it out during Season 13 without Rinna’s big lips messing things up even more.
