Why the Third RHOBH Dinner Party From Hell Is Already Iconic

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has quite a track record with its epic dinner parties. During Season 1, Camille Grammer hosted the first “Dinner Party From Hell.” Kyle Richards brought her friend, Faye Resnick, to the party. And Camille and Faye didn’t hit it off.

Camille’s friend, psychic Allison DuBois, gave Kyle some advice as she puffed on her e-cigarette. She told her that her husband, Mauricio Umanksy, “Will never emotionally fulfill you—know that.” Kyle scoffed at the psychic’s prediction. But in July 2023, Kyle and Mauricio separated.

The second Dinner Party From Hell took place during Season 11. Kyle’s sister, Kathy Hilton, hosted this unfortunate soiree. Some of the RHOBH cast members decided to quiz Erika Jayne about her and her estranged husband, Tom Girardi‘s, legal problems.

If you were wondering just “How Many F**ks” Erika gave, the answer is, a lot. Erika threatened Sutton Stracke with a lawsuit.

The third Dinner Party From Hell was held at Kyle’s house during Season 13. She hosted a weed dinner. It was confusing and chaotic. Just what I love about a Beverly Hills dinner party. Let’s take a look at why the third RHOBH Dinner Party From Hell is already iconic.

All the Guest Stars and Faye Resnick’s Big Move

Can we pause and applaud the guest list for a moment? The usual suspects were in attendance at the THC-themed dinner. Kyle, Sutton, Erika, Garcelle Beauvais, Dorit Kemsley, and Crystal Kung Minkoff were present. And newbie housewife Annemarie Wiley made her debut.

Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey accompanied Sutton. Faye and Justin Sylvester were on the guest list. Former RHOBH stars Camille and Denise Richards rounded out the party.

Everyone was shocked to see Camille and Faye at the same event. After all, during Season 1, Camille referred to Kyle’s friend as “the morally corrupt Faye Resnick.” Surprisingly, the two exchanged pleasantries at Kyle’s party. But when the place cards seated the ladies across from each other, Faye hastily switched seats.

Did Sutton Imply Mauricio Was Cheating?

Sutton and Kyle spoke in another room as the guests seated themselves. Sutton explained that her bizarre behavior was because of issues with her ex-husband, Christian Stracke, relocating to London. Of course, Kyle was there to comfort her. Just kidding! Kyle immediately minimized Sutton’s feelings.

The ladies fought about Kyle not being honest with Sutton about her life, and about how Sutton makes excuses to cover for her bad behavior. Crystal interrupted the heated discussion.

Back at the table, when asked where the hostess was, Sutton replied, “In denial about something.” Once Kyle returned to the table, Crystal suggested getting to the root of the problem. Stir that pot, girl! So, Sutton and Garcelle brought up Kyle’s marital problems.

Garcelle asked if Kyle’s new ring was an apology gift from Mauricio. Kyle accused Sutton of implying that Mauricio was a cheater. Sutton denied it. She may not have said it, but Sutton and Garcelle hinted that Mauricio was being unfaithful. We have a full-circle moment that echoes the Season 1 dinner party and the psychic’s remarks.

But Sutton and Kyle continued to spar, shocking the guests. When Sutton mentioned Kyle’s rigorous workout schedule, Kyle claimed that Sutton doesn’t eat. Sutton has a medical condition, which Kyle knew about. Still, both ladies hurt each other with their accusations.

Denise Richard’s Wild Behavior

Denise’s behavior at the third Dinner Party From Hell was iconic on its own. She didn’t partake in any of the THC-infused offerings, yet she seemed a bit messy. Is this a new ragamuffin ensemble? Did Denise pre-game before seeing her former co-stars?

Meanwhile, Denise winked at the camera and made several strange facial expressions, like facial gymnastics. Denise responded when someone asked why Kyle and Sutton weren’t seated at the table. “Did she have too much of the hors d’oeuvres? Well, you know what I’m talking about,” she said as she pushed her lips to one side.

Finally, Denise turned her attention to Erika. She demanded to know why their relationship changed. Erika was baffled by Denise’s question. She didn’t understand what she was referring to.

Erika sounded off in her confessional. “I’m high, but I don’t know what she is but she is on another level,” she said. Denise continued to grill Erika, but she couldn’t articulate the issue. Eventually, she dipped out of the party early, upside-down jacket and all.

Denise’s odd behavior is just another reason why the third RHOBH Dinner Party From Hell is simply iconic.

Sutton Lights up the Night

Just when you think you know your favorite housewife, they do something that leaves your jaw on the floor. Our Georgia peach lit up a joint at the dinner table. Some guests were stunned, while others thought it was rude. If you are at a weed dinner party, I think you have forfeited your right to complain.

So, while Sutton may have skipped the weed-infused food, she was most definitely high at the party.

The Kathy Hilton Connection

Sutton thought that her friendship with Kyle’s sister Kathy may be a sore spot. After last season’s reunion, Kyle and Kathy were estranged. Kathy felt that Kyle didn’t have her back amid the Lisa Rinna drama.

Then Sutton spilled some tea about Kathy. She told all the guests that she received a nasty call from Kathy because Kathy expected Sutton to defend her. And Kathy wasn’t the only one upset that Sutton didn’t speak up. Kyle was steamed that Sutton didn’t share this info at the Season 12 reunion.

Although there were no psychic predictions, there was plenty of off-the-wall behavior, tears, and screaming matches. There is no doubt that the third RHOBH Dinner Party from Hell is an instant classic. Kudos to this franchise for showing why these ladies will never have a civilized dinner.
