Kelly Dodd is at war with Vicki Gunvalson, although she’s pretending her issues are with Steve Lodge, even though she’s taking it all out on Shane. Or whoever else is nearby. Except not anymore, now she’s back to poking Vicki with daggers.
Vicki Gunvalson does not like her relationships to be the center of the storylines on The Real Housewives of Orange County. At least not for negative reasons. Yet, Vicki finds herself there once again this season. Her co-stars are now questioning whether Steve Lodge is a good pick for her and Vicki is not happy about it. She also lashes out at Kelly Dodd, pointing out how much Kelly has changed since her divorce.
Vicki started off her latest episode rehash by defending her friendship with Chef Domenico, “I was shocked to hear Tamra say I should be dating him over Steve. First of all, I love Steve and was taken back by that comment. Domenico has been married the entire time I have known him, and to also set the record straight, I have never ever had any indiscretions with him nor would I.”
Production needs to give Emily Simpson’s husband Shane Simpson an orange to hold up during the opening credits. He has contributed more to this season of Real Housewives of Orange County than some of the actual Housewives. Sure, he’s rubbed pretty much every viewer the wrong way, but at least he’s given us something to talk about thanks to his war of words with Kelly Dodd.
On last night’s Real Housewives Of Orange County the morality police came for Gina Kirschenheiter, and if there’s one person who shouldn’t be presiding over other people’s morals it’s Vicki Gunvalson! Especially as Gina’s biggest sin is her tongue-twister of a last name. Errrrr… I mean, that she doesn’t believe in organized religion.
For some reason, everyone is supremely bothered that Gina wants to divorce her husband Matt because they’ve simply fallen out of love. I believe the court’s term for this is “irreconcilable differences,” and that Vicki, Kelly Dodd, and Tamra Judge nee Barney have all pulled the same shenanigan when ditching a husband for being too boring. All aboard the fun bus or bust, right?! And their husbands even lived with them, whereas Matt moved over an hour away and is too busy to see his kids for more than one weekend a month. Um, really??!
Personally I think they’re all aghast that Gina doesn’t appreciate the perfection of her situation – she has all the perks of a husband (who also happens to be hot): sex, financial security, doesn’t need to work, cushy home, nanny, but doesn’t have to put UP with a husband! These women probably do believe that a man who’s completely checked out of his marriage unless he’s depositing cash in the bank account is one worth keeping!
Emily starts off, “I am in no way proud of my behavior at Tamra’s party. I feel like any wife who respects her marriage and her husband would have become as irate as I did.” She continues, “However, I am the ONLY one taking any responsibility for my own actions that evening.”
Out of all the husbands (and boyfriends) in Real Housewives history,Vicki Gunvalson’sman Steve Lodgeseems to be one of the least opportunistic of them all. However, that’s not what Vicki’s friend-turned-frienemy Kelly Dodd is claiming. She told Tamra Judgethat Steve is only with Vicki for her money. Nevertheless, it seem like appearing on Real Housewives of Orange County is the last thing that Steve wants to do.
Of course, Tamra did what she does best: stirred the pot. She told Vicki what Kelly said the next time she saw her. To be honest, that was the right thing to do, especially if Kelly was spreading that around to other people (which she most likely was), but it’s also setting up a major explosion the next time Vicki and Kelly see each other in person. Not only that, but Tamra also questioned if Steve really loved Vicki… even though she just told him to marry Vicki during the previous episode.
