Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion

After making her husband’s cancer diagnosis about her, NeNe Leakes continues to make everything possible about her. Again. The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 11 reunion trailer just dropped. And, for the most part, it’s NeNe against everyone else.

That makes sense since nothing happened for the first half of the season. Other than fashion-induced arguments. Then Porsha Williams and Kandi Burruss went into NeNe’s closet and all hell broke loose. I’m actually surprised NeNe isn’t sitting on a barstool alone across from a long sofa full of Housewives. It seems like no one is on her side. Well, except for Marlo Hampton. And apparently Shamari DeVoe. They are the only two cast members that NeNe follows on Instagram after the reunion taping.

The reunion trailer starts with NeNe talking into the phone saying, “I thought we were real friends.” Obviously, this is about Cynthia Bailey, who told Andy Cohen, “I’ve tried to be a good friend to her.”

Why is NeNe so mad? Kenya Moore attended an RHOA party. This made her feel like they were plotting to get Kenya back on the show. NeNe just played herself. Making such a big deal out Kenya’s presence pretty much guarantees a Kenya comeback. If NeNe just played it cool, no one would be talking about Kenya’s appearance at this party. NeNe should know better after all of her reality TV experience.

NeNe even declared, “I was being a ride or die friend.” When? Everyone is ride or die for NeNe, but we never see it the other way around. Cynthia insisted, “I didn’t know that Kenya was coming.” Andy asked, “NeNe, is this something that’s worth ending your friendship over?” NeNe was not having it and clapped back at Andy, “Do not keep pushing me over, OK? Don’t.” Wow.

The good news is that this actually prompts Cynthia to start acting like a Housewife. The usually calm Cynthia declared, “If NeNe wants to fall out over this petty as shit, then let us fall out.” Finally- a storyline other than Cynthia thirsting for a marriage proposal.

In more lighthearted news, Andy asked Porsha, “Is it weird your fiance has other women’s names on him permanently?” Porsha told him, “I still lick them the same.” Eeww.

Gregg Leakes makes an appearance. And once again, the conversation turns to NeNe. Andy remarked, “People wondered why you’ve traveled when Gregg is sick.” Then NeNe declared, “Because if I didn’t travel, Gregg wouldn’t be eating.” That’s harsh. How did NeNe eat before reality TV? Oh, yeah, Gregg paid for that.

Of course, they discuss the infamous closet fight. NeNe said, “I said we were not filming in my closet.” This prompted Andy to ask, “What about putting your hands on people?”  NeNe responded, “What do you want me to say?” Really, NeNe. Classic NeNe, just sidestepping a direct question. Bloop.

Porsha confessed, “If somebody tells you they were not terrified, they are f*cking lying.” And then Andy asked if something happened with her belt. Tanya Sam shared, “Me and Marlo jumped up saying ‘get off of her.'” NeNe rebutted, “That’s a f*cking lie.” Is it though?

NeNe tried to deflect from all the heat against her by telling told Eva Marcille, “You need to be arguing with these people who are talking about your house, your car, your credit.” Didn’t NeNe face the same accusation on the show? I guess we just all forgot about past seasons.

Marlo continues to insist that Shamari is an alcoholic. She claimed, “I know she’s been to Betty Ford.” Shamari resorted to the go-to retort against Marlo: “Tell me something about gold digging or shopping. Then, I’ll listen.”

In random news, Kandi shared, “I had no intentions on shedding a tear today.” It’s just very unclear why she cried. Were these tears of joy? Or tears of sadness?
