Season 9 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was a SNOOZE. I never want to hear the term “puppygate” again. The women made the entire season about dog drama when everything else in their lives was going to crap. Dorit Kemsley and Erika Girardi were both dealing with financial issues, yet they were barely talked about. Denise Richards and Camille Grammer lost homes in a serious fire. Yet, we only got one episode dedicated to the real-life tragedy. Lisa Rinna’s daughter struggled with an eating disorder and we saw one awkward dinner. Kyle Richards had zero problems other than self-induced anxiety. However, we saw none of these things manifest in a real way on RHOBH.
Instead we were treated to Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave’s accountability scheming, a Lisa Vanderpump-less season, and lots of costume changes with zero substance. Here’s hoping these women learn from watching this season that they need to let the Beverly Hills façade come down a bit for the sake of interesting content. It doesn’t seem that will happen though.
As HollywoodLife reported, Kyle was recently spotted filming with Teddi. Zzzzzzz. I guess this means that Teddi is getting a third season. So much for Season 10! According to HollywoodLife, the women were spotted having lunch in Studio City on August 21.
Both Kyle and Teddi look amazing in the pictures. The only other information from the article is that at one point, pictures show, “Teddi with her mouth wide open in awe, seemingly over something Kyle had said to her.”

Here’s hoping Kyle wasn’t talking about LVP or her caftans. Bottom line, I’m weary about a season without LVP. I do think that more of the central women, like Bethenny Frankel, should take a step back from the show every now and then. But only if the cast is stellar enough on its own.
This is unfortunately not the case with RHOBH right now. Who knows, maybe they’ll cast some new blood that could shake things up! Either way, let’s hope things pick up next season far from where they left off!
