Leva Bonaparte Southern Charm

Southern Charm Star Leva Bonaparte Reportedly Filming A Spin-Off Show At Her Nightclub Similar To Vanderpump Rules

If there’s one trend Bravo is hopping on recently, it’s re-entering the game of spin-off shows. Arguably, one of the most successful spin-offs ever has been Lisa Vanderpump’s show Vanderpump Rules, centered around the staff at her West Hollywood restaurants. More recently, Bravo is gifting us with the Southern Charm/Summer House mashup as well as the Real Housewives All-Stars vacation series. Even Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss has been gifted another show about her restaurant in Atlanta, even though she says it’s nothing like VPR. I’ll believe it when I see it, which is still unknown at this point.

And now, it looked like Southern Charm’s Leva Bonaparte is trying to get a piece of the spin-off pie. Leva’s been a figure on the show for several seasons as a one-time close friend of Cameran Eubanks. During Season 7, she was made a main cast member and brought issues of racism in Charleston to the forefront of the show. It was fitting, particularly at a time when Kathryn Dennis was being slammed for racially insensitive remarks and Confederate statues were being torn down in the South. According to Radar OnlineLeva allegedly filming a spin-off show at one of her bars that sounds like a Southern version of Pump Rules.

Radar Online reports that celebrity gossip site Deuxmoi was given a tip that cameras were rolling in Leva’s popular nightclub Republic Garden & Lounge. But even though cameras were allegedly filming bartenders, the report states that Bravo has yet to greenlight any spin-off about Leva as of yet. A dream is but a dream, for now.

Leva and her husband have been staples in the Charleston hospitality industry way before Southern Charm came on the scene. Fans got an inside look into how the COVID-19 pandemic affected their businesses last season. Now it looks like they’re back, doing business and looking to get filmed while doing it. So time will tell in Bravo or, more likely, Peacock will pick up Leva’s show. But in the meantime, we have whole new seasons of VPR and Southern Charm to look forward to.
