Lala Kent Said She’s Not Comfortable Discussing Randall Emmett At This Time

Lala Kent and Randall Emmett have been on the outs for nearly a month already, yet neither party have confirmed or offered any information up to this time.  The Vanderpump Rules star may be hinting at split by cleaning her social media of his image, removing her engagement ring, and relocating from the house she shared with Randall, but Lala hasn’t made any official statement.

And it doesn’t seem like she will anytime soon.  Of course, it’s her right to maintain privacy, though her Vanderpump Rules fan base is used to Lala sharing her life on camera.  But the news of Randall’s infidelity not a continuation of the season, and Lala wants privacy for the sake of their daughter Ocean.

Lala said as much during a recent episode of her podcast, Give Them Lala…With Randall.  People reported that she discussed the need for privacy with Vanderpump Rules alum Brittany Cartwright.   “I want to acknowledge that I’m sure everyone knows what is going on between Randall and myself and just in my personal life,” Lala told the guest star, “There will be a time where I feel comfortable enough to open up and share. Today is definitely not that day. It’s been a lot, I’m going through a lot.”

Lala is mourning an engagement, that was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic from April 2020 to 2022.  The former couple welcomed their first child together with the birth of daughter Ocean in March 2021.

And it’s for Ocean’s sake that Lala remains discreet about the situation between herself and Randall.  She explained, “I just at this point in time want to protect my child, she’s my number one priority, and I know what I signed up for. I’m on a reality television show, but in this moment, it’s not about me, it is about my kid and privacy is the only thing that I’m looking for for her sake.”
In the midst of a global pandemic and personal strife, Lala is also celebrating three years of sobriety.  She credits the tools that she learned in Alcoholics Anonymous to cope with her heartbreak.  Lala explained, “We work on it in AA, which is one day at a time — sometimes it’s one minute at a time — and that doesn’t just apply to me with drinking, which, surprisingly, even with everything that’s going on, I’ve never felt stronger in my sobriety.”
To their credit, Lala’s Vanderpump Rules costars and friends are not disclosing any details either.  Scheana Shay was asked to comment on Randall and Lala’s split during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live.  Despite Lala having a lot of opinions about Scheana’s relationship with fiance Brock Davies, Scheana refused to comment when asked about Randall’s request to lower child support payments to ex-wife Ambyr Childers.

Scheana said, “I’m not going to speak on that relationship at all. It’s a tough position.”  The mother of one added that she does not find the tabloid news “satisfying” in any way.  She explained, “no, not at all.  I don’t like seeing her go through any of this.  I talk to Lala almost every day, I’ve checked in on her a lot, she’s doing good.”
