Kyle Richards Rants About Lisa Vanderpump, Lawsuits, & Ken Todd’s Birthday Message

Gather round, the New Queen has spoken! On the heels of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Blame Lisa Part VII, Kyle Richards was having itchy typing fingers. She was bound to respond after Lisa Vanderpump’s husband unleashed his wrath on Twitter last week. Ken Todd shared his thoughts about the remaining Housewives and didn’t mince words. After the second episode of the reunion aired last night, Kyle had a meltdown few words of her own to share.

Andy Cohen did us a solid and went digging for dirt. Legal dirt, that was kept from viewers all season. What’s more interesting than 839 shows about Dorit Kemsley ditching a dog? Perhaps Dorit and PK Kemsley’s financial issues? Maybe Mauricio Umansky being investigated for alleged fraud? Anything but the revolving door of accusations against LVP. Thankfully, we have Kyle to break it all down for us and explain to the masses, what reality television is all about.

Kyle managed to churn out 29 separate tweets in conjunction with the RHOBH reunion episode. That officially qualifies as a rant! She wrote on Twitter, “The Real Housewives follows a group of women’s lives and how they navigate through their friendships . We are followed by cameras that capture what we say and do. We are expected to be honest and say how we feel about any given situation.” They are “expected” to be honest. But I guess sometimes the ladies fall short of being completely truthful. Right Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave? Honesty is the best policy though, Dorit would agree!

Kyle reflected, “The Real Housewives is NOT Lifestyles Of The Rich and Famous. It is not Sex In The City. It is not scripted. It’s our reality. I have been on this show many years now. We just finished season 9 to be exact. There have been many tears and a lot of laughter over these 9 years.” Who is mistaking this for Sex In The City? Are people watching thinking Erika Jayne is Carrie Bradshaw?

Kyle admits seasons have been stressful and acknowledges making mistakes in the past. Like outing her sister as an alcoholic on national television? Kyle added she has “learned a lot and grown as a person”. On the events surrounding #puppygate, she said, “This season has left me so frustrated at times. Frustrated that people don’t always seem to see the obvious. No, It’s not editing. It’s people who are good at ‘the game’.” Fans of the show agree, it has been frustrating. Almost annoying. Viewers are still waiting for evidence LVP leaked the dog story to the media. Not to say Lisa didn’t do it – but confirmation would have been nice.

Kyle continued her tantrum and brought up the scene at Vanderpump Dogs.”When I was told to go to Vanderpump Dogs way back at the beginning of the season, I knew right away what was going on.” Kyle knew right away? How in the world of unscripted, honest television, could such a thing happen? “I was brought there to unknowingly be a part of making Dorit look bad for entertainment purposes I suppose,” says the newcomer to the television industry…

Kyle admits Dorit “made a mistake” and should have returned LLAJ to Vanderpump Dogs. Then her focus shifted to Ken’s savage tweets. “Ken is angry because the cast “bullied” Lisa when she was going through a hard time. Forgetting the fact that being honest isn’t bullying AND the fact that I resisted using any adjective in that realm when Ken got up in my face.” Got up in Kyle’s face? Wasn’t she in HIS house? Hadn’t the homeowners asked her to leave several times?

Surely Kyle is done discussing LVP. Nope, “If you’re going through a hard time then you would think you would be coming from a different place. Not scheming about how to make your friend look bad. Your close friend. The problem is it was not new behavior due to her having a hard time.” Lisa was mourning the death of her brother, but had room to make her friends look bad. Time management!

Was Kyle deflecting from acknowledging various legal battles? She writes, “Over these 9 years we never discussed Ken’s and Lisa’s lawsuits, we also never got into Lisa’s family, where she comes from or her background.” But, but didn’t you just say this is reality television where you show your lives?

The best post was arguably, “We talked about something that happened ON CAMERA. Something that couldn’t be ignored because it changed the dynamic of the group. Our children and husbands are not signed up or paid to be on the show. Sorry, Ken – Only women the get to hold [the diamond].” Kyle makes an extremely valid point. Children and husbands did not sign up for this mess! Since husbands are off limits, we’ll no longer suffer harassment-level advertising from The Agency. Thanks, Kyle!

Kyle ended her tirade with, “Moe, excuse me while I prepare for what backlash is coming my way for being honest. Until then … check mate! Kyle XO”

Checkmate? Twenty-nine obsessive tweets about Lisa Vanderpump definitely means Kyle won the game. But with nary a response from LVP, it looks like the new queen was just playing with herself.
