Kristen Doute Is Upset Her Friendship With Ariana Madix Was Never Shown On Vanderpump Rules

Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Kristen Doute is having a major fan-supported come up this season. This comes after being ganged up on by Katie Maloney and Stassi Schroeder. It’s hard to tell if it’s Kristen is really a most-improved player or just the lesser OG evil on Vanderpump Rules. Either way, I am here for her. Truthfully, it’s difficult for me to be on the side of anyone Stassi has admitted to disliking.

Kristen has not only dealt with on-screen drama, but off-screen as well. First, Katie and Stassi tried to blame Kristen for making them look bad. Newsflash! You don’t need help there, ladies. Later, there were even body shaming pregnancy rumors swirling. Seriously, she has dealt with some twisted narratives all while having to get over her long time ex- Brian Carter. What can I say, I’m a sucker for an underdog story. And what better sidekick than the one and only baddie goddess queen, Ariana Madix?

I know what you’re thinking, isn’t Kristen still bitter about the supposed Ariana and Tom Sandoval and cheating/Vegas kiss rumors? She seems to bring it up once a season. Well, The Blast has shared that Kristen recently told the Washington Post about her new book, “I felt like it was really important [to write the Tom and Ariana chapter] because it was honest, but also to show that there was some redemption at the end of it,”

**SPOILER ALERT!** For me, this teaser was a juicer plot twist than finding out Kristen has hooked up with Max Boyenson this week’s reunion episode. During that revealing moment, the only person who was as gleefully entertained as the rest of us was Scheana Shay. That’s surprising since Kristen followed up about her blossoming new friendship saying, “[Ariana]’s super supportive and she’s a different kind of friend to me than, let’s say, Scheana is, where Scheana and I have a very similar love language and a very similar sort of attention-needing with our men and whatnot,” Kristen continued saying, “Ariana looks at things a little more factually, so she is someone that I go to when I need that other perspective.”

Okay. I love this. I can always use some mature insight into friendship and relationships. If the show is going to be boring as sin, at least show me some personal growth. Kristen added “It’s something you don’t see on the show. I feel like they didn’t really ever focus on how Ariana and I actually made up, and there was such a temperature change on ‘Vanderpump Rules‘ when that happened,”

Kristen explained, “I kind of just wanted to fill in not only the ‘Vanderpump Rules‘ fans, but really just the readers in general, to know it is possible. There’s light at the end of the tunnel, even if you’ve had a tumultuous breakup. If I found a way, it’s possible…I wish that they would have shown more of that.” D’awwww.

Kristen continued about the possibility of next season saying, “And I hope if we get another season or whatever happens with the show, that they will focus more on our friendship, because I think our dynamic is really cool and interesting.” Am I rooting for another season with OG cast? Ariana’s logic and Kristen’s ride or die attitude could be a serious takeover and I am HERE. FOR. IT.
