Lala Kent rarely keeps an opinion to herself. In her time on Vanderpump Rules, Lala has had countless confrontations with cast members. She told mean girls, Katie Maloney and Stassi Schroeder they weren’t “working on their summer bodies,” she “dismissed” Billie Lee for pointing out the group’s ignorance on trans issues, and called Raquel Leviss a bambi-eyed bitch. There’s a lot more to add to that list but we just don’t have the time and space.
Another thing about Lala is that she proclaims that she’s a ride or die friend. In reality, she flip-flops from loving co-stars Scheana Shay, Ariana Madix, and Tom Sandoval to hating them. In fact, she’s even said Tom and Ariana have the audacity to be her friend “when she’s really struggling.” She’s also done the same flip-flopping to Stassi, Katie, and James Kennedy. So, basically, Lala doesn’t know what ride or die means, but here she is talking about Sutton Stracke’s loyalty to Erika Jayne.
According to Page Six, Lala spoke with Porsha Williams and Gizelle Bryant on Bravo Chat’s Room about the “stupid” drama between Erika and Sutton. “I agree with Erika,” Lala shared. “It’s like, don’t be a fair-weather friend.”

Lala’s referring to the fact that Sutton (and Garcelle Beauvais) are the only Real Housewives of Beverly Hills who are skeptical about Erika and Tom Girardi’s legal troubles. Last week, Erika smacked down Sutton for suggesting they put distance between the two of them. “At the time your friend needs you the most,” Lala continued, “you can’t step up to the plate and say, ‘If you need me, I’m here for you?’”
Then, Lala asked Sutton hypothetically, “how would you be involved?” She concluded saying, “let the feds pick up the phone. I have nothing to hide.”
Lisa Vanderpump has hinted at her opinions on Erika’s issues, so it’s kind of surprising that Lala’s opinion isn’t aligned with LVP. However, Lala’s words make sense because she expects blind loyalty in spite of her own bad behavior.
